The bucket hat was conceived in the early 1900’s as a purely functional item, often worn by fishermen and farmers as protection from the rain thanks to its wide downward-slanting brim.
It wasn’t until the 1960’s mod movement that the hat transitioned from a functional piece to a fashionable one. Today, it is a popular choice of headwear, especially during the Summer months. Due to its soft construction, the bucket hat can be folded and easily concealed in your pocket when not in use.
Our bucket hats are proudly made in Bristol, England in our Fox Khaki cloth.
